Description
Said "Vitis Apicia", for its intense and sweet scent that attracts the bees in the vineyards, Fiano is a wine full of history, brought to Italy by the Greeks, and by them planted in Irpinia. Was the wine of kings and emperors for its character and its refined and structured. To preserve the characteristics of its past, the production philosophy of Ventitrèfilari want to add them to the typicality of the terroir of provenance, creating a true marriage between territory and flavors. Made from 100% Fiano from an old vineyard of only 23 rows in the municipality of Montefredare. The low yields and the small size of the vineyard of 0.8 has to make each year less than 5,000 bottles of this great fiano are produced. After the harvest, the wine is vinified in stainless steel and aged on the lees for 9 months before being bottled and resting for 10-12 months before being marketed. The production process, combined with the great quality of the vineyard, produces a Fiano di Avellino important to the long-aging potential. The palate is intense and fragrant with mineral notes and aromas of pear, hazelnut and orange peel. The body is creamy with good structure and a pleasant acidity that accompanies the long finish.
