It is a wine born in the shadow of the Temples of Paestum from vines cultivated on medium-textured soils, mainly composed of limestone and clay. The grapes undergo low-temperature maceration for six hours and then soft-pressed with brief contact on the skins to extract only a minimum of color and aromas. The must is vinified as a white wine in temperature-controlled steel tanks, and the wine is also aged in steel for six months before bottling. San Salvatore winery's Rosè Vetere is a modern and very current interpretation of this fascinating type, which is gaining more and more admirers among wine lovers. Merit also goes to bottles like this one, which draw an essential, elegant and very pleasant profile of it. Following the most widespread orientation in the Rosé scene, it has a very soft pink color, with aromas reminiscent of citrus, pomegranate, raspberry, red currant and herbs, accompanied by floral and iodine nuances.
